How to get certified:
In 3 simple steps
The Institute of Financial Operations and Leadership (IFOL) pride ourselves on leading the way in setting professional standards and validating competency in the world of financial operations. Our range of professional credentials act as a marker of excellence in their respective fields and our members and students are proud to show their commitment to the industry using the designations they earn through study and passing rigorous exams.
For some, enrolling and working towards a new professional credential is exciting and for others may be daunting, whichever it may be for you, we have designed the process to be as simple and streamlined as possible.
Making the decision to enroll
Deciding to enroll can be the first step to advancing your career, if, when and which programme to enroll in are often the biggest decisions – We advise all prospective students to spend some time reviewing the different certification programme options to ensure you’re making the right decision. The certification process
Once enrolled, the process to become certified in simple and outlined below;
Study – After completing enrollment, you’ll gain access to the IFOL study platform where you will find all of the study materials, resources, case studies and assessments to prepare you with the knowledge you’ll need for taking and successfully passing an exam.
Exam Prep – Use the study material, practice exam questions, live and recorded classes to prepare for the final exam.
Sit The Exam – When you’ve completed the course you can take the relevant exam at your convenience, online within the IFOL Academy. You must achieve a minimum score of 80% on any IFOL exam to pass and be awarded the certificate.
Maintaining your certification with continuing education and membership
After passing an exam and being awarded your certification and designation, you may be required to become a Certified Full Member of IFOL and complete some continuing education (aka continuous professional development CPD) to maintain your knowledge, skills credentials and professional status.
