About the exam

The CP2P examination is made up of 70 multiple choice questions and is based on concepts and experiences in relation to P2P and Management principles. Each question is derived from the body of knowledge CP2P course materials and body of knowledge.

You will have 90 minutes to answer 70 multiple choice questions. Prior to the examination you will be prompted to spend a short time reviewing the course materials and any notes you have made throughout your studies.

During the examination, you will have the opportunity to review any question on the examination. Once you have answered and confirmed your answer for each question, you will see an immediate correct or incorrect mark. Subsequently at the end of the exam you will receive an immediate pass or fail mark, the minimum pass mark is 80%.

How long does it take to complete CP2P?

You will have access to the course material and online exam for 18 months from your official start date. During this time you can complete the course at your own pace. We estimate the course requires 140 hours of study which means you can complete in 6-8 months if you study for 45 minutes per day.

If you’re not able to complete the course within 18 months, it is possible to apply for an extension.

Do I need to attend classes or an exam centre?

In short, NO. The entire CP2PP programme is online and self paced, however as a student you will gain 12 months free IFOL membership and will have access to monthly virtual roundtable events, discussion sessions and study support.

What happens if I fail the exam?

We hold a 99.8% first time pass rate for our certification programmes because the course material is engaging and equips learners with all the knowledge to pass the final exam. However if you any reason you do not pass the final exam, you will be asked to spend some time revising the course material and you can re-take within 30 days at no additional cost.  

How do I enrol?

The enrolment process is quick and easy – simply complete the online enrolment application and you will be directed to a payment portal where you can pay your entire course fee or pay a deposit to hold your place for the intake month you are interested in. Following this, a member of the IFOL Support team will contact you to complete your enrolment and create your student profile.
