Are there any formal requirements?

There are no formal eligibility requirements for enrolling in the CP2P certification programme, as the study materials begin with basic principles and steadily progress to advanced practices and theories so you’ll learn everything you need to know for the exam as you study.

What type of experience or prior qualifications are recommended?

Although there are no formal requirements, we recommend that you have a minimum of 12 months practical experience of working within a finance or procurement role. Alternatively, completing the CAPP (Accounts Payable Practitioner) certification programme, provides sound preparation for taking the CP2P certification.

Those who have more practical experience, may be able to progress through the first 10-20% of the study materials at a faster pace, but should always read and understand the materials thoroughly before moving on.
