The AP Automation Trends Survey which was carried out by the IFOL; Institute of Financial Operations & Leadership saw 201 Accounts Payable professionals from 9 countries take part, investigating the current state of accounts payable automation adoption.

The survey revels low levels of full automation in the AP process, with over 66% of respondents indicting that they spend over 5 days per month manually processing invoices, tasks which could be partially or fully automated, leaving more time to spend on complex queries and issues.
